Mr Lars Klaver provides representation in complex criminal cases.
Klaver studied at Utrecht University and the University of Amsterdam. He graduated in criminal law and worked at several reputable law firms during his studies. After completing his master’s, he did the two-year traineeship at the Public Prosecution Service. During this traineeship, he worked as a paralegal for the prosecutor, where he dealt with confiscation cases and cases of complex fraud and environmental crime. In February 2023, Klaver was admitted to the bar. He joined De Roos & Pen since November 2023.
Klaver has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister): criminal law. Based on this registration, he is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
