Mr. Annerieke Stronkhorst has been working as a lawyer at De Roos & Pen and provides assistance in criminal matters of both general and financial-economic nature.
Stronkhorst studied at the University of Groningen and the VU University in Amsterdam. She graduated in criminal law and in Transnational Legal Studies, a subarea of International and European law. During her studies she worked at several law firms and completed an internship at the Amsterdam Court of Appeal.
After her studies, Stronkhorst joined the Amsterdam Court of Appeal and worked for several years as a senior legal assistant. She was involved in many types of criminal cases, ranging from sex offenses and violent crimes to confiscations and fraud cases. She also worked on matters in the field of the Opium Act, the Road Traffic Act and the Arms and Ammunition Act. Stronkhorst was also a member of the editorial board of the Judiciary Europe Newsletter.
Stronkhorst has registered the following principal legal practice area in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister): criminal law. Based on this registration, she is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
